We rejoice in what the Lord is doing in the land of Chile. As we have just returned from the capital city of Santiago, we thank the Lord for the safe journeys to and from this country.
This trip involved working on a camp just outside of the city. We met up with other workers from North Carolina, and two groups from Pennsylvania. There were over thirty people working together to accomplish the many tasks. Fellowship was sweet as we recognized the centrality of Christ in the purpose of our trip.
Some of the many jobs accomplished were:
• 600 +/- meters of concrete and wire fence installed
• Brush cleaned up and burned
• Many problem trees were taken down and cut up for fire wood
• Rocks and stumps removed
• Bathrooms were painted

• Gym was painted
• Dorms were rewired
• Soffit and fascia board completed on one dorm
• A lot of food was prepared and consumed

We want to say thank-you to all that participated and both in work and in prayer. There is still so much work to be done at this facility in order for it to be a fully functioning camp where souls may be reached with the Gospel and lives will be changed.
